Meet leader Alan Clark at the Deer Lake Parking Area at Deer Lake's Gate 4 just off Old Mill Road, 1.5 miles from Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania. The lake water level may be lowered for winter season by that time, exposing mudflats that sometimes yield interesting migrating shorebirds. Will plan on walking around the 70-acre lake.
